Ooh - England/Belgium will be worth keeping an eye on!

MidnightBlue 06-27-2018 01:03 PM

Brazil got its well deserved win over Serbia.

When the match was over and I started falling asleep I was taken out of my sleepiness by the view of a Serbian player wearing no shorts but only his pretty much bikini-type underwear. I wonder if he donated the shorts to the fans??

Off to bed weekenders.

Nighty night.

I'm tired, tired, tired, too tired to post... doing double shifts sucks.

I'm looking forward to my day off on Friday.

Goodnight, Weekenders! :grouphug:

Hey Snufkin, if you don't mind, and if it's allowed, it would be really cool to see progress pictures of your commissioned piece.

Ohh I've just noticed your post Dragon - I'm gonna upload 'the making of' mural video, so no worries, you're gonna see everything, whether you like it or not. :lmao Uhh I should really slow down with all my thousand pictures... sorry guys!

Eh can't sleep... trying to find some lullabies....

Anyone knows CocoRosie? I saw them in Warsaw two years ago... Too bad I was too drunk to enjoy their music. :( This song is haunting me;

Manta, Feb of this year saw me leave, successfully a recovery program- that focused on recovery with 2 counselling sessions a week, with hundreds of pages of CBT based homework and also to find long term safe housing for those without it. I was in it for 21 months.
Honesty is the key, I think. I did not like sharing or even understand what the implications of what I said at first, so cooked was my brain. But over time- I established a rapport with my counsellors (2) . I always did what they asked of me- hard work tho it was. Good for you on persisting.
Support to you.

THIS.... sorry, that's my last CocoRosie post! They're really good tho, check them oot guys. ;)

Hi, Caramel! :wavey:

Willow00 06-27-2018 04:27 PM

Thanks Gilmer ❤️
It’s Thursday again here but this week I’m feeling great about a fun sober weekend ahead, and not tempted to drink at all, hopefully the AV stays right away :)

Manta, big hugs to you. You’re doing such a great job of rebuilding yourself and your life sober, we’re all so proud of you ❤️

I don’t follow the soccer really, but I did hear on the radio the Aussies are out, thanks Sao :)
Queensland is also out of the State of Origin (rugby league) as the Blues (NSW) won the first 2 games (best of three)... I guess we have to let them win once in a blue moon
:lmao
Have a great day/night everyone :wavey:

Thanks Gilmer! The timeline is more about saying when I was x age this situation happened to me and made me feel x way so we are not necessarily encouraged to write about what we did when drinking but what happened to us before it became a problem. So something I am ok sharing here is that I have to write about how I felt when my Dad tried to commit suicide when I was 11, these are painful memories and ones I am very reluctant to revisit as I am scared of the pain it will bring up. I have blocked it out for so long and never really took time to acknowledge those feelings. I don’t know if that is one of the reasons I drink now I just know it happened.

My Dad tried to hang himself under a bridge, I was in my 20's so was able to process it better I suppose. It resulted in years of fear that I would turn out the same. Even so, I couldn't begin to imagine how it affected you ((mantalady)). Thanks for posting, It's so nice to hear from you.

Dragon that is a very rough experience. I am so glad to read right after that post that you are enjoying life immensely. Proof that hard times and sad events do not mean a hard and sad life.

Good morning to all the weekenders.
It's a little cooler here this morning.

Pretty busy at the moment with work and running off to concerts mid week dont make it easier :)

My current management want me to stay in my present department and are offering some incentives so I am a little lost. I have two jobs lined up in other departments and they are waiting for my answer...I have a fantastic relationship with my colleagues and their is a great ambiance in work so Not the time to do anything hasty. Just getting a little tired of the same ol same ol if anyone can relate. Anyways enough rambling.

Hope you all have a great day weekenders.

Later.
