Well done on your new job Mummy and I'm glad you're giving yoga a try. I've been practicing for many years and it really does help from a mental and a spiritual viewpoint. Learning something new is distracting as well and there are lots of beginner's videos to choose from on YouTube. I really like Rodney Yee.

Thanks for thread and the suggestions! I've tried to watch a few videos but didn't find them very engaging. I have a mat but when I do practice it turns out to jist be random stretching which doesnt make for a very stable routine. I also have long legs and grt discouraged easily. I find mediation easier so hopefully i can join the two some day soon.

Love yoga especially hot yoga. I can't wait to get back into it when my broken foot heals fully.
The advantage of teaching yourself yoga is you can do it everyday anywhere. If you really really love it, you might end up teaching it one day. I have many friends who took teaching courses and they love their new lives teaching yoga.
