5 Weeks - aches & pains

Hi All,

I’ve posted in the past about sore legs, tingling feet, aches and pains etc. soon after sobriety. Been to a few doctors and no official diagnosis other than some mild vitamin deficiency (which I am supplementing). Not looking for any med advice just curious how long others have experienced cramps, aches, general soreness and strange sensations in extremeties after quiting. 5 weeks without a drop as of today and I’m eating right, exercising and sleeping, but can’t seem to shake these physical symptoms and it’s becoming frustrating to say the least.

Thanks and good luck to everyone on their journey!

I experienced similar things, I think its normal. Alchohol upsets a lot of our physiological processes and it takes time for them to normalize.

Had lots of tingling sensation when I quit. Night sweats for weeks too.
