As for getting help, I'm seeing a p-doc every week and my GP every three weeks to review my AD meds... all this is not much help at the moment, I'm just too anxious, I don't trust them and I don't want to talk.
But you are doing it nevertheless....strength and commitment.
And you have us to talk to....talk as much as you like/need/want.....we care about you and between us we have some pretty major sobriety time and coping skills. ♥♥

hang in there ((Snufs))

anxiety is a bit catch-22 - if you need the help you're too anxious to ask

I really hope you'll take a risk & try trusting one (or both) of your Doctors. what's the worst that can happen? I don't think they have the budget for straightjackets any more

Thank you Andy.

Yeah I know... there’s not much logic in what I do. It’s hard to explain; every single time during any of my appointments, I feel so nervous and anxious there’s only one thought on my mind. I have to leave this building... I want to go home... My BF has to come with me to see my GP, because I refuse to talk sometimes. Just... whyy... brain, could you stop acting crazy please? I thought we discussed this.

I hope I’m better one day. I hope I’ll never drink again - I’m thousand times worse when I drink... *shudder*

Dragon, your first ukelele composition should be titled: "Hanging the Cuckoo".

It's cool to think that it's all mechanical, no batteries or USB charging port. Mrs. Dragon thinks we'll quickly get sick of it. She could be right, but I'll deny it.

No, Leigh—despite my vehement protestations that never in a million years would I watch Game of Thrones, I am now vehemently hooked! I cannot stop watching!

Well written and fantastic characters! The good ones you just love, the witty ones have you fist-pumping at the TV—and for the evil ones you totally rub your hands with glee when they die grisly deaths!

Absolute best show I’ve ever seen!

Hi everyone

Gilmer, I love Oscar and Cookie monster too. My Mum had a big green Oscar who was very grumpy and cool... I also had a real soft spot for Rowlf... And I think I’ll have to watch Game of Thrones... I keep hearing such good things about it....

Snuf, like Venuscat said, keep posting here if you can’t talk to the docs, there are soooo many amazing and supportive people here who care about you ❤️

Dragon, I totally love the clock! It’s fabulous.

Have a wonderful day/night everyone ❤️

I watched GOT until the disk broke in hospital with my burns. I will not buy them- too addictive...and I think there will never be a finite finish, unlike LOTR. The creative ways people get revenge on those they hate...if the guy who wrote this stuff was not an author- he would be locked up for being a sociopath.

My Wife watched the first season when they broadcast it on pubilc TV. She loved it so I got the next two season on DVD for her. Which remain un-touched. Go figure....
