Hi - New Here and Finished Day 4
Hi, all. I think I'm going to be glad I found this group! I just passed Day 4 no booze. It's all gone out of control the last few years - a combo of boredom, stress, and depression - and it's way past time to reign it all in. Physical changes were beginning to happen from my steady diet of vodka, and I want off the ride now. So far, so good. Am cautiously optimistic.

congrats and welcome! i'm pretty new too. the first few days are definitely the hardest. i always found myself really jonesing for booze on the third day without it, no matter how hungover i'd been from the last time. you may be over the biggest hump in the road!

Hello and welcome!
Day 4 is a fantastic start. It means you have taken control of you life, but the work has just begun. We all started where you are. Some of us here have a few months sober, and others have 20-30 plus years!
You will find a lot of support here, and if you ever have a twisted day (we all have) don’t hesitate to holler out on the forums.

Hello and welcome and congratulations on your decision to stop drinking.
Day four was always the killer for me. Felt better, hangover gone and hey! I can drink again.
Alcohol took it's effect on me physically as well as mentally, too.
Best to you, and remember, you never have to drink again
