Making mistakes simply proves your human and not a heartless robot.
Monday morning my wife could not find her jacket. Thinking she left it at the gym, she drove over to collect it but it wasn't there. After a long hard think, she called her co-worker to discover she left it behind on Friday.
Whenever she has a memory relapse that that she really beats her self up over it. I said there are two things you can do about it: Check yourself into a care home now or accept that your just like the rest of us.

Speaking of fines. I don't recall if I told you I was fightng a parking ticket. Well the ticket got thrown out so I don't own anything. yay. But not becasue I was right, because the parking cop wrote the wrong street name on the ticket. I was lucky tho becasue I had bought my ticket from a parking meter that was for a private lot and not the city meter for street parking. How embarassing.

IN!
Thank you Dee! It's touch and go but i'll probably live.
Welcome to Weekenders Canadian Koala and Willow and congrats on 32 days.
Well done Vman for geting rid of your rediscovered stash.
MB - it's an easy mistake to make, I always operate on the basis that all the utility companies are evil and out to get me.
I am off sick at the moment (manflu) and have had time to peruse the news. Something that annoyed me this morning was that a second hand handbag sold in London yesterday for £162,500 or $200,000+. Are there really not better uses for that kind of money? Meh.
As Dee says this thread gives a bit of extra support - you can also post thoughts and observations that interest you that you might otherwise think is not worth starting a whole new thread for.

Hi everyone-
I'm in for another sober weekend-
Rough week here as I lost a dear friend on Wednesday
I honor the fact that she was in my life and will cherish my memories of her. Life can be hard at times.
On a brighter note, i stated going to Adult Children of Alcoholics meetings and I think it will be beneficial. Peeling off the layers of the onion is a lifelong process and I welcome any help I can get.
Ok....bring on the weekend! I love sober weekends!

I am sorry about your loss, Happyandfree.
Life can be tough, for sure.
But we are tougher.
I've finally called my boxing trainer and going for my first after-business trip workout today. I've overdid on dates and nuts and I can barely move. And I am supposed to jump, and do push-ups, and if what not.
What was I thinking?
