Cracking the ice a bit
Last week I took 7 liters of fluid off a middle aged female. This was ascites off her abdomen from drinking. Jaundiced. Wheelchair bound, too weak to walk.
Her adopted less than 10 year-old was bringing her food for about a month as she lay on the floor in her excrement but still drank.
Sad. Sad for everyone.
She has chosen her path. I have chosen mine.
Please choose wisely.

^^^could have been me one day, minus the adopted child
We don't ever think it can get worse, til it does and we eventually die...or we quit.
I also firmly believe there aren't infiinite chances to quit. And we simply do not know what can happen with even a small amount of alcohol during a relapse, after years of damaging ourselves.
Keep going Fallow.

Looks like this is 1000 posts. Never reached that many on any forum before. I am feeling very good in all aspects and very confident about staying sober.. thanks to all the great people and wisdom on SR.
Looking forward to the weekend.

It truly must be a full moon. I am here sober and awake after 5 hours of good sleep. My wife the normie is drunk as a skunk and sick as a dog. She went out to a girlfriends birthday.
I am so glad its not me.
She is gonna feel awful tomorrow.
Never ever ever again thank God.
