Just venting...

Just over 9 months ago I had my last drinks hopefully forever. It was just before my arrest for a third DWI. I knew before that (even that night) that I needed to do something to slow down or stop my drinking. But the arrest, conviction, and subsequent 30 days in jail and three years loss of license really cemented it. These days things are much better. Didn't lose everything like I thought I would. Had to sell a few things, no big deal. Now my biggest concern is finding a way home from work. Uber/Lyft is about $25 a day. I can get a ride in and I have an awesome GF who will pick me up if need be. Urges to drink are minimal. Like most people on here understand, drinking is never the answer, no matter what is going on with work or whatever stress I find or create. I look back at posts I made on here after my 2nd DWI and really wish I had followed some people's advice, but that's all in the past and all I can do is worry about me for today.

Thanks for everyone's support, we're all in this together.
