1,461 Days - in a row
Thank you to all the lamplighters here who showed me a path out of the drunken haze I had been in for decades. Your tolerance is humbling and your hearts are enormous.
It seems Sobriety isn't for those who need it, it's for those who want it........ more than anything. Grace opened a door for me and can for anyone.
My life has not turned into a Disney parade. Circumstances are difficult on a few different fronts. Regardless of all this I find myself genuinely grateful and thankful; remarkable.
This song sums it up better than I ever could.

1461 sober mornings. Pretty great. "In a row," I said that about my one week soberversary and even at the time I realized how silly, "Seven days. In a row," sounded. Absurd and frightening that a week was hard.
That song - fantastic.
So many pop songs borrow from ancient wisdom. Carrying the flame.
