1,461 Days - in a row
Sad last few days as we had to put down our yellow lab of 14 years. Your avatar looks like my Wrigley.........such a sweet lil gal. Gosh, I miss her.......
Thanks Hevyn
For years I cleaned up dog hair as she shed and blew her coat
Her ears had chronic issues and required constant vigilance
Had beleaguering hot spots
I grumbled at times with these routines
Boy, do I miss her...........
Jackpot = Great name!
You've got time. Wrigley stopped eating and drinking water in last few days, mostly.
She did eat some pancakes with syrup though
Good thoughts for you

Congratulations and thanks for posting. If you can do it I can too! Hoping I can stay sober that long... I haven’t counted my days, but have the papers from my last ER visit filed away... just taking it one day at a time for now.
This is precisely why we need to share our anniversaries - to show others that sobriety is there for anyone who wants it. Multitudes came before and will come after.
For this reason, setting your sobriety date in my exper is very important.
Regardless of how long, all we have is a daily reprieve - one day at a time. We who woke up sober today and don't drink are winners. Sounds like you are there with us, Well done friend!
Warm Regards,
Fly
I don't count or look at days, either...but in the beginning I sure did! The first few months were so hard that every day was a personal victory. I put a red heart on my calendar at the end of every day. Didn't want to break that streak.
