That's awesome, Myluckyday! It only gets better. After nearly a month sober, my liver pain is gone, too. The liver is pretty resilient, but I've had a warning...

That's awesome! It might come and go in waves, mine does so don't get discouraged if it happens to you. Baby steps and all of that!

The body's ability to heal itself is a miraculous thing, along with the spiritual renewal. It only gets better as time passes!

It's pretty amazing the things that happen when you stop poisoning yourself, keep going!

Congratulations! I fell off the wagon about 2 years ago. Been off an on since then. Currently I’m back to drinking unfortunately..

Today my liver hurts worse than it ever has. It’s taking my breath away.

My plan is to continue to safely quit drinking today and on Monday morning I can go see my doctor. I’m hoping for some medical assistance to stop without DTs/complications and advice on liver.

I know I can quit. Hard part is staying sober. I need to work on a plan to prevent the first drink / rationalization when I’m feeling good and confident that I can drink normally.

Anyways, sorry for the lengthy post. Congratulations on getting to a point of no liver pain. I really envy you right now.
