Did you guys know

...that life can be lived without alcohol and be absolutely wonderful?

Joyous, happy, rewarding and present?

Because I didn't know it for an awful long time.... but then I chose sobriety, embraced it, did the work, built a different image for my life.

And hot dang, it feels REALLY, REALLY GOOD!!!

I can't imagine it being lived wonderfully WITH alcohol. At least not the alcohol I knew. And I knew this even while drinking.

It can also be lived absolutely wonderful full of drugs and alcohol, but once you go down that path, the clock is ticking and its a matter of time before heaven turns to hell (IMO). In sobriety there is little risk of life being hellish because our conscience is clear and clean. again, IMO.
