2 and a half months sober!!!
 

Hey guys not checked in for a while. Hope everyone is well. Well I'm now 2 and a half months sober and feeling great. I can honestly say I've never felt better, sleeping well, eating well and as a bonus lost a stone in the last month. Yaaay. I'm actually getting up in the morning with a new lease of life. Excited for the day ahead and haven't thought about drinking for a long while. Anyway just thought I'd check in with you all. Hope you are all doing well and winning this fight. Xx

That's a really positive post I am very pleased for you. Makes you wonder why we drank in the first place.
My recovery is taking its own sweet time at 5 months and things are still tuff. Better than they have been but still tuff.

Hope that things continue to improve as quickly for you.

Hanging in there, Sonerlife? Just read your post about the blackouts, shame & guilt. Story of my life for 15 years. Going on 8 months sober. Still haven’t figured out what to do with the guilt and shame, but feel great comfort in knowing it all behind me (🤞🏼)
