Below is what I posted last Thursday. I am happy to announce that I made it. Sunday evening has long been a drinking time for me. Last Sunday was awful. This Sunday much much better. I am waiting for the "stores" to close before I go grocery shopping for the week and that will cap of four nights where I would have usually gotten stupid. I would not have made it without all of you. Big huge thanks.



(Wife has left for California to help her sister. 21 days sober and I am going to have a big test to get through the first 24. No one around to check on me. If I can do the first 24 then the next 7 days should be easier. )

What wonderful news, Marcutah. I'm so glad you made it through a tempting time. We say it all the time, but it truly does get easier & less intense as we get some sober time behind us. The thing I once lived for - I rarely give a thought these days. You're doing great.
