Well I already blew it… I walked into my local coffee shop in my coffee shop proprietary saw me coming and prepared my usual… A redeye and a slice of pie.

He had already put the whip cream on and I felt a little guilty to say no so I ate it. Here we go again… However, for the rest of today no processed sugar

 at the pie-pusher.

Did you tell him this was the last piece?

It's tough. I started dealing with sugar in 2007. I was 80 pounds overweight. It took me a very long time to put tools in place to keep sugar at a reasonable level. I've been at a healthy weight since 2008, so I had to come up with ways to limit it.

In my case it was far easier to stop alcohol than to wrangle sugar.

I'm with Sunflowerlife, too. Flour triggers the same moremoremoremore behavior.

One day at a time.

I started a 24 hour Food Addiction Thread in the Newcomers to Recovery section if anyone is interested...

Chocolate Halo Ice Cream works for me. Only 80 cals in a serving with very little sugar.

Of it makes you feel better, I would have for DQ too. We have a food allergy in this house that keeps us away and there is a fabulous local dairy who accommodates the allergy, but if Dh and I find ourselves without kids and within 10 Kms of a DQ... We are so there :)

I've never had any problems with it. Even with the Sugar alcohols, it's less than B&J;).

I can eat 1 serving...most of the time. HA!
