7 days

Hello. 👋🏻 I’m seven days sober and I feel pretty chipper at the moment except from the endless headache. I guess I just keep drinking water until that goes away.

Welcome and congratulations on 7 days. How long/much had you been drinking, prior to that, if you don’t mind me asking.

Thank you! I started drinking heavily about a year and a half ago culminating in one to two bottles of wine a night. My main motivation to go sober (and I’m not sure if it is the right reason but a reason nonetheless) is because I’ve started to gain weight.

7 days is wonderful. I'm glad you were able to take action rather early in the game. I went on for many years, always insisting I could control the amounts I drank. I never did. Welcome to a friendly & supportive place. ) We're glad you're here.
