Thiq

Folks, I read few articles how recent studies how a specific chemical called Tetrahydroisoquinoline (THIQ) forms for folks who binge drink. It appears that this is a 'one way' chemical i.e once it forms in the brain, it will never go.

THIQ seems to be he culprit which will make the drinker jump back to the bookmark levels where he/she stopped. THIQ will not let you drink any less and get satisified. Also, THIQ does not form for social drinkers.

Anyways, at least we know that if you were/are a black out drinker, no attempt to moderation can work because of this chemical. Thought I can share this with everyone!

Sounds like a scientific explanation for the phenomenon of craving described in the AA big book. Works for me. I'm too thick to beat thiq.
