Am currently on holiday abroad...

...and am enjoying day 12.
I feel so grateful for all the wonderful support and and advice here from you all, it's literally getting me through each day, even on holiday.
I've had a couple of really difficult situations up to day 12 but this site is wonderful.
Thank you guys.

That's the beauty of SR. You can literally carry us round in your pocket 24/7. Have a wonderful holiday and at last you're making memories you can be proud of!

Thanks for your messages, really appreciate it.
There is booze everywhere and my husband is drinking but I am so happy to be drinking tea and having some nice biscuits to go with it.
I can just imagine having 'just the one' as it's my holiday turning into three...then three wouldn't be enough etc. etc.!
I am feeling very strong and it's a great feeling 😊

I stopped drinking on January 4th this year. We flew to Thailand for a fortnight on the 12th January. Booze everywhere. Starts at the airport and then never ending from then on in. I didnt touch a drop and very much enjoyed the holiday. I remember it all! And not one groggy morning or hangover. Well done you for doing it. All respect to you as most would use it an excuse to keep going. We are all here with you. Have a wonderful, relaxing and super dooper break. X

I am on my way to the airport home and I can honestly say that if it wasn't for SR and you wonderful people I may well not have had a completely sober holiday.
Still not lifted a drink in two weeks!!
SR is really helping me.
