Day 5....Ceiling just

Fell through in my powder room...ugh! I been ignoring the leaks for months due to being drunk or too hungover. Ignoring it like it was going to fix itself...stressed over where money was going to come from to fix it since I lost my $80,000. Yearly job in 2014 due to drinking and ended up on disability...making pennies. I panicked when i heard the crash and went into bathroom and seen the gaping hole in the ceiling. My first thoughts racing through my mind was u dear will, will not use this as an excuse to drink and block out my anxiety over the situation. Well Im good...I said prayer cleaned up the mess and will proceed to get estimates tomorrow. Once again I will not drink over this!!!! By the way today is day 5!

Hopefully it won't be too costly to get the ceiling repaired.

Good job on Day 5!

Sorry about your ceiling Mistory. We had that happen to us once in an old house. What an ordeal. Hope it's not too expensive. Good for you in committing to not listen to the AV. Hang in there.

I'm sorry mistory - no doubt the plumbing problems are to blame.

I really hope that you can start getting this stuff fixed and that things will take a bit of an upswing soon

Shouldn't you be calling the insurance company?
