I'm doing okay. Thanks for asking, Less. I'm somewhat nervous as my first foot surgery is tomorrow. However, I'm on my 6th day. Day 6 isn't as good as Day 112, but it sure as heck beats Day 1.

Clawing your way back and achieving 6 days is brilliant Rar! It takes guts to start over.
Do whatever you can tonight to relax before your surgery. I like a nice hot shower and a pamper. There's something about a good pluck too which relaxes me. Yes I'm weird!
I drank at 99 days last year Rar so I really do understand. I mourned the loss of my hard earned days and it took a little while to put it behind me. But thankfully I did. That last outing was part of my journey just as yours was.

So I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 a.m. for 8:00 a.m. surgery. I can't eat or drink anything after midnight. That's tortuous for me, since I drink water during the night and get up to eat most nights. I'll probably be extra hungry and thirsty tonight.
I have to shower tonight with antibacterial soap, then another shower tomorrow morning with more antibacterial soap. After I get to the hospital, as a prep, I have to swab myself down with antibacterial wipes. Then, I have to swab my nose and mouth with antibacterial stuff. I had to start my antibiotics today. I think hospital is afraid of MRSA (antibiotic resistant bug - superbug). Also, I can't use hairspray. Wonder what's with that?
Glad I'm not drinking! Last year after my shoulder surgery, I was drinking (though not allot), plus pain meds. EEEK!
