I'm so happy this morning!!! I didn't drink last night. I'm so happy this morning and I'm trying with all my energy to remember this feeling! I know my AV will be back this afternoon and I have to drill this feeling into my brain. I figured if I put my feelings here, I can look back at this post later today for encouragement. If I want to feel this way tomorrow, I can not drink tonight!!!! |

That's fab! I am also on Day 2. When your AV comes knocking, which it will do and maybe even with a vengeance, come back here and post. I'll be hanging around because I know mine is going to give me a hammering later. Let's support each other. |

Well done mld. I find that sober mornings are one of the most prized aspects of my sobriety. Focus on that deep feeling of rest and peace and how you want it again when the urges come knocking. Congrats. |
