Medically superior detoxes have been the best for me. During my drinking career I have had at home detoxes as well but they were hell. Awful, awful withdrawals. Obviously I have had several relapses with disastrous consequences. But I am determined not to give up! I just was to therapy, AA and saw a doctor. This must work. Others have done it. You have done it before, you can do it again. If you can go to detox go! That would be the first step.

Welcome, damagedroses; you will receive an abundance of support here.

Hope that you pour out the alcohol now and get back on that right path.

SR is here for you.

I posted a response, damagedroses, in your other thread.

If you are on a serious bender, I would suggest calling a friend to take you to the ER or call an ambulance. Get through the detox and then for, ulate a rock solid plan for recovery.

I will post a link to a very good thread on that subject in a minute.

Hi - You're not alone here on SR. I agree with Leigh in that you need to call a friend to take you to the ER so you can safely detox. We're here for you.
