9 years ago today . . .
. . . I joined this website.
I was struggling desperately to get sober and just couldn't do it by myself. I eventually joined the August 2009 sobriety class where I "met" a great bunch of people in the same situation, and that really helped me. Because of that group I also decided to try AA, and that also helped.
Now I've been sober for over 8 years, and this website has been a key factor in helping me do that. For the newcomers who may read this, log onto this website daily and read, join a monthly sobriety group, and consider face to face support, which for me was AA. That's what worked for me.

Folks in recovery continue to pave
the way for those still suffering with
addiction, for without them we would
not be where we are today. Clean
and sober.
Congratulations on your 9 yrs as you
continue to pass on your own ESH -
experiences, strengths and hopes with
the newcomer.
Continuous sobriety to achieve the
Promises as written for us in the BB
of AA.
It works if we work it..!!!!
