i asked if you drove TO the store when you fetched snacks and BOUGHT the wine.

earlier you said you had issues with driving and therefore couldn't drive yourself to AA meetings.

Sometimes the cover-up is worse than the crime. I think lying might be what upset him the most. The two bottles are gone, get right back to living a life of sobriety. This too shall pass.

Nearest AA meetings are over an hour away and lots of busy freeway, which I really hate. In our rural area which is mostly farmland I can get to Walmart, Target, 2 grocery stores and at least 6 convenience stores in 5-10 minutes with very little traffic, late at night and in the wee hours of the morning there were times I’ve driven to the store and not seen another car driving on the roads.
