Day 2
Day 2
Well as expected I didn’t sleep well without the wine last night. Got up and went for a 5km run and let the endorphins do their thing. Groceries done, washing hung out and some decluttering of my wardrobe.
Time for a rest. Dinner with my mum tonight. She likes a drink (but in a normal way!), but as husband will be with me he will buy the drinks and get me lime and sofa.

It get's better Alice50, first few days I was all over the place, I did manage to sleep but had awful dreams and kept waking up shouting in my sleep which was exhausting. You can do this, how do I know that? Because you proved it by doing it yesterday and you can do it again today One day at a time, keep strong and enjoy your meal this evening. xx

keep going Alice, the sleep will come back and get better, I am sleeping a bit better from one week ago.
The wine is a really acidic sleep disturber imo. Id always wake up at 5am still drunk, sweating with a racing heart. not to mention extreme anxiety and paranoia about small mistakes i may have made at work.
next day id switch to beer and knock down about 12 beers instead of 2 bottles of red. That would at least stupify me enough to sleep till normal wakeup. So my intake in the working week was 24 beers and 4 reds. and on the weekend was just insane "all you can binge"
its a pretty depressing cycle.

Renvate it is a depressing cycle. I started my day 1 yesterday as I knew I would struggle with sleep and we have a public holiday Monday so a bit of time to get sleep sorted before back to work.
I want to fall asleep naturally and not from the bottle each night.
