Sober day 2!!

I know this is a small achievement but i feel of the wagon last year after 10 months sober and ‘controlled’ my drinking (well if you ever can, not) for weekend the. Of course went back to old habits. Anyway after 3/4 attempts since December I have finally been sober for a days so on day two small acheivement but massive for me just wanted to share. Feeling positive about today too.

The first week? I never want to go back there. I felt pretty awful for about ten days.

Every day since? Priceless - regardless of the difficulties life can throw at me, I'm much better equipped to handle it as a sober person.

"I know this is a small achievement "

I'd say the first two days are MASSIVE in comparison to days 100-101!

Good on you, bravesjp! The first days are the hardest--once you power through them it gets better as you rack up the sober days. A positive attitude is a great asset too. Wishing you the best on your sober journey.

Thanks all I’m still going

Thanks everyone for tour support. I’m still going tonight will be Day 7 booze free am so pleased and still determined. Find I get a little sort of board/lost in the evening. Anyone else get this.

This time I am more determined as I can see it only get worse and harder the longer sobriety is avoided and my health is paying the price big time as the year go by.
Am fighting blood pressure now. Thus time I just really want to become healthy. Well done everyone else how’s it going for you all? Xxx

Thanks D looking at it’s more long term health wise now as anxiety and blood pressure were becoming unmanageable let alone all the other things that go with it! Hope you’re good xx
