I am doing ok but feeling a bit weird. My insides feel like they have been battered, which I suppose they have.
I expect it takes a bit of time to settle. Also, feel a bit light headed. I am eating a drinking lots of water and also cranberry juice.
Hoping this all sorts itself out soon !

Take it nice and steady Cuckoo. Your body has a lot of healing and adjusting to do. Avoid Dr Google at this stage I found health paranoia was a real issue early on. You're doing great. Nice and steady one day at a time.......xxx

Thank you jo. I didnt say that I also have been experiencing a sort of achey feeling around the lower half of my right rib cage. I am definitely not going to google it but wait and see if it settles this week 🙁

Cuckoo in my first couple of weeks of sobriety I was utterly paranoid about every little twinge (don't even start me off about scrutinising my poo!). I think it is quite common.
Of course if you are suffering prolonged discomfort it is best to see your doctor.
That being said one of the things I had to force myself to be was patient. Our bodies do need time to recover. Our brains need time too.
I set myself the goal that if I made it to 100 days I would get full bloods done and a full health check. Everything was fine thank goodness.
Just keep focussing on today and try and allow your body to do it's job. If your anxiety won't quieten due to your physical discomfort get to the docs (wish I'd done it sooner)

Cuckoo, I agree with joandmelandhan - I had all sorts of aches, pains, cramps, nausea, etc. Everything settled down as I began to heal from all that I'd done to my body & mind.
