Wow am I struggling today

It would be so easy to say screw it and do the wrong thing .. i dont want to do that.
Lord give me strength today. I will find a way to deal with these feelings.

It would be easy! I walked into one of my favorite country stores and found myself staring at all my favorite craft beers. What wouldn't be easy is tomorrow morning, and all the sickness, guilt and remorse I'd be feeling along with the drive to have more more more. This way is harder but much better I think! Stay strong lady!

The wine was calling me hard, I'm determined to wake up well rested, energized, hangover free and feeling proud I made through one of the harder days I have had. I will treat myself with some fun early garage sale shopping for treasures I wouldn't be doing if I drank.

Have to get through it

Look up "urge surfing" - I've found the posts here and on the internet re this technique to be of great help when I felt overwhelmed.

I know it's early on, and my logical brain knows that drinking is no longer an option. But it really makes me nervous how loud AV is being.
Today I'm sober. I fight another day!

My advice is to not engage the AV at all, Mandy.
What it wants is poison to us.
