Gilmer it may be hard for your cousin to obtain a delivers license, I don't know how that works. Perhaps that's why he is making jokes about it. I am not sure about his business plans, I hope that they work out. And he definitely seems to be in denial about his drinking.

I actually slept a bit last night and no nightmares! Yay! Still exhausted though. I am sure that exercise would help but I am barely past detox and it is hard to find the energy. Walking a lot or running are not really an option as I have hip replacements one of which went wrong. But I could go swimming and do some select lifting at the town fitness center. Maybe during the week...!
Oh boy, do I have photos of my cat... I have TONS, I can PM you some if you want, or email if you need a better resolution. Are you a painter? Illustrator here, I love sketching hairless cats; they are so eerily beautiful, and cool to draw and study...

Or take up Ukulele and sing your heart out. (Ok, I'll shush up now...)

Almost ready to call it a night on a great weekend. It's late here but not really tired. The hockey game going into OT doesn't help! Anyway, lots of time spent with the kids and working around the house. A time that would typically mean a light hum seeing me "be there" but not be completely present. Ugh. Way better feeling now!

Morning, weekenders.

I had some emotional meltdown last night, but after a good sleep I am fine again.

Coffee, and then I'll be ready to conquer the day!

Dragon - Speaking about singing, when I kid I attended a music school - I learned to play piano. Honestly I hated music classes - I believe it had to do with my teacher who used to cry bloody murder at me. Anyway, there were also classes where we sang. And I have quite a low voice for a girl, and I didn't feel comfortable about that.

Now I just love my voice.

Ok, coffee.

Blue, is it called contralto? The low range female voice?

What a thing of beauty.

Grabs me by the roots.

Yes, contralto is the lower end of the female's voice.

I used to sing in a band and studied music for a long time, classical music really improves your voice but it's sooo hard, arias and stuff like that.

I love music, I'd forgotten about some of my past until I saw that for some reason.

Trach - I'd say deep contralto, it such a thing exists)

Just to illustrate how far it's in low range I remembered an episode from my long gone past.

Back in the days when my mother was alive and I was living with my birth family, on a Sunday morning the mother's friend called at , like 9 a.m. I was still sleeping (I was 19 and wasn't eager to wake up early). So I answered the phone in a sleepy voice "Hello?".

The friend thought it was my older brother and she said "Oh, hi X. Can I talk to your mother?"

I answered "Sure thing". ))))

Morning all.

I'm working today but tomorrow is a Bank holiday (may day / worker's rights day / lily of the valley day ) Tradition is to give some (muguet) lily of the valley flowers to friends and loved ones for good luck.
Off to work.
Have a great day.

Morning, Vman.

I love lily of the valley!

My birthday is on May 14, and I always associated it with these flowers.

Now, of course, I tend to hide somewhere on my Bdays and forget that I am far beyond 23 years and still "nothing done for immortality".
