Welcome back.
It's a good start being here and making the choice to see the doctor about this, I'm sure he can help in some way.

Been wondering where you have been.

I fell off myself. Day 6 here.

There's hope and a better life for us.

Happy to see you here again. Stick around.

Brutal Mum. I have similar pains and worries and results.

Nothing to do with the past besides use it to fuel your resolve at getting better and doing right by your kids. And by you.

It will go well. Just tell them everything and to refer you to an addiction specialist or center to get you on your way!

good advice there to yourself in your avatar saying
your experience with your little one reminds me of this: the founder of Lifering Secular Recovery got the impetus to sober up and later start the organization when his very young son asked him " you are a drunk Daddy, yes?" or something very close to it.
awful yes but can be the turning point.

I'm so glad you are back, Mummy. It's a very good idea to talk with your doctor. Quitting for your children's sake is an excellent choice. My father was a alcoholic who caused our family lots of misery when I was young. I hated and resented him for a long time, although he became sober and we did reconcile--I cared for him at the end of his life. Sadly, I became a drunk too, the thing I most hated in my dad. It's a tough situation but you can do this. We are here for you . Wishing you lots of strength.
