So today is day 9... a little to some but huge for me! Each day is one more step! I’m thankful for everyone in supporting me. I have found since being honest with the people around me that I need help with alcohol (and what’s going on in my head) everyone has been great, yes my parents have cried, I suppose it’s not easy for them to see there only living child “suffer” but after the tears came hugs and support!
Today is a rainy day here, and although I miss the kids I know they are happy and safe and loved and I will see them tomorrow for cuddles (and pizza &#128523.
I’ve an appointment to see someone from my recovery program, where I’ll be going in 2 weeks for 5 weeks away, once I keep being sober “I want this, I hope I can do it, it will be a better life” so after that I was going to maybe have my hair done or nails eeeek maybe both 👸🏼! It will keep me out of the house as my bf is working and the house is very quite! Also my dad is having surgery and it’s been playing on my mind so it might distract me from that until I can talk to him this evening!
Had an okay sleep, it took a long time to fall and I set an alarm to wake me so I can try and get a healthy sleep pattern! I’m going to pop to the book shop and the health food shop too! I think working on my mind and my body will help keep focused.
I hope everyone has a great day and can do another 24 hrs of staying strong and working on themselves!
