Hi
I'm an alcoholic. In recovery now for almost 20 years. Often find myself in front of this screen without much to do. I'm a senior (very senior) and have relocated from my original group. Gets a bit lonely for people to talk to who understand.
I have some mobility problems so I don't get out to meetings much any more.
Anyway, I don't want to ramble. Just looking for a safe place to spend a few minutes now and then and help when and if I can.

we have all ages here from teens to one gent in his 90s so I'm sure you'll find friendship and like minded souls here.

I'm a young whippersnapper of 50, but I have mobility issues too so I empathise with the difficulty of getting out of the house etc.

Welcome to the site, this is a great place to reach out to. Also you can always give your local AA call center a call about setting up transportation to and from meetings, most have no issue with this.
