Weekender Apr 5 -9 2018
Hello again weekenders
Getting ourselves back - I think that’s a critical thing for many of us. I thought drinking created a better me for the longest time. I feel like a late bloomer - just now starting to realize some of my potential.
Suze, hope things improve for you. Getting outside helps. Gratitude helps. Sometimes a nice meal and a good nap helps, too.

Outside temperature slowly climbing....only 5 more days before the massive jungle goes outside and I have a proper garden again. Yes, I want fresh air and sun and yes gratitude always helps of course, and so do you wonderful people.
Thank you.....Gilmer and all of you. Yes better. Absolutely.
I'm out of whack because I need the sun and fresh air and I need f2f friends.
Lonely. Not to worry....all fixable. Pick up phone Suzanne.
We are going to have a great weekend. s
teaorcoffee.....let yourself rest as much as you can love. ♥♥

Suze, It's so hard to move, even with the love of your life. You made two huge life moves, stressful moves, even for the better. It's still hard. I've moved all my life and it can be hard. I sure hope you feel better soon. We all love you and want the best for you. All my love!!! xxoo
I am glad things have improved Susie Venuscat!
The weekend has begun here, I will be off to Crazy Golf later this evening much bouyed up from watching Sergio Garcia take a 13 at the 15th hole in Masters at Augusta. It makes me feel a lot better about my game.
For so many of us Friday and Saturday nights are like a Full Moon to a Werewolf, our AV starts to howl in anticipation. All those justifications we use "it's been a long week, i've earned this," yadda, yadda, yadda are truths that have been twisted out of recognition. We may well have earned a break but pounding our insides with alcohol is a dumb reward if you think about it. Without it we get to enjoy everything else, we even get to remember it too and rarely does a person wake up after a night of sobriety and think "oooh my head" swiftly followed by "omg what did I do last night." We can do it and if we can do it at this time we can do it at anytime!

VC - as another serial mover, I agree with Alysheba, moving is hard and we have to cut ourselves some slack once we get over the first honeymoon period of life in a new place.
Get on the phone and keep your connections from your old place. It's important to keep yourself together and grounded where you are, as is taking note of all the things that are different.
Whether big or small, better or worse, all those small changes add up.
Hang in there, hope you get your garden back soon.

Weekend
I’m in for a sober weekend. It will be the first in an extremely long time. I just hope I am strong enough. Congratulations to you Dee on 11 years of sobriety. You are an inspiration. I cannot even imagine a weekend being sober, let alone 11 years.😊
Have a good night all
