Dave,

I think there is a difference between a lapse and a relapse --using a diet example, just cause you slipped and had a piece of cake, don't use it as an excuse to eat the whole thing and give up the diet sort of thing.

People are so worried about any lapse because it often leads to the whole cake because of how our minds work.

So I am very proud of you that you stepped up, put down the fork and are back!

I liked this article.

Glad you put the gin away, now I would throw it away...

And Another Dropsie

Thanks. Feeling the positivity. Theres a ladder to climb after around 40 years of booze and , as Im honest , if theres a few rungs missing along the way up then Im not going to shoot myself. I allowed the beast and I will rid the beast. Was £400 underpaid today - enough to turn the old Dave to having a quickie even before work. But look where that leaves us!. No Im not craving and Im enjoying the new found fruits of my efforts. Im trying to swerve negativity and complacency on this routemap. Onwards.
Regards
