I woke this morning feeling great. Slept well and looking forward to another sober day. Then, a slight feeling of unease crept in that took me a few moments to identify.
Normally I would be straight at it looking for last nights 'evidence' you all know the score......hidden glasses and bottles to be removed. Checking all my usual hidey holes....etc
But today....nothing to do but relax and enjoy this bank holiday Monday.
Jeez Louise I really want to feel like this every morning.
I have finally accepted the enormity of my problem and the huge responsibility I have has a parent.
One day at a time and thank you everyone for all your supportive messages the last few days.🙄

Congratulations on day 3! I feel like I do a MUCH better job as a mother when I'm sober... I'm only 15 days sober so don't have a whole lot of advice for you, but I definitely understand. Enjoy your day off.

It feels awesome J.
Even my eyes feel healthier today. Normally the skin around my eyes feels tight and scratchy. That will be all the cranberry juice and water re hydrating me I hope.
