Day 37
 

Today is day 37. Happy Easter.

I've been trudging along. Good days and bad. Mostly ok. Not much desire to drink as the legal issues from my OWI continue to provide plenty of motivation to stay clean.

Reached a stage where I'm feeling that I need to face & get the immediate legal issues behind me before I can really let go. But then I've also been thinking there's likely some things I can do to kick start the process.

This week's goal is to start attending 3 AA meetings per week consistently. I feel it's time. Maybe past time. I'm starting step 3. Been reflecting & soul searching a lot which is likely also a start to step 4. Fairly convinced that some of the old me is still at work and resistant to giving up control over some things. Hence the doubling down on committing to the process.

Hard to believe it's 37 days. I can still remember typing on day 2 that I was 2 days closer to having some things behind me. Amazing how the days stack up.
