Day 8 is great!! This is the longest stretch of sobriety I have had in 15 months — when I went through detox and was sober for about 2 weeks. The difference: I am sure it is AA, in particular my sponsor. Having that support and direction has been invaluable. Step 1 has me wanting to stay sober more than picking up a glass. I do not want to lose what I scratched and clawed to get for quite some time. And it was wonderful to wake up on a Monday morning and not be in total panic and racked with anxiety from binging over the weekend. In fact, i did not notice that I was relatively relaxed on a Monday morning. Things are well. |

Congrats!!! I felt my first week was the worst and my second week was a lot better. Less of the AV and more of the enjoying being sober and hangover free! |

Well done Horn! You've got a nice start on Week 2. :You_Rock_ |
Good job Horn. You have a sponsor, use him/her as much as possible and call.. I know for me I couldn't have done it with out his help, geesh I must have phoned him at least 3 times a day in the 1st few weeks but he was always there. |
Keep it going Horn :c014: D |
