I will send the officer a thank you card. And stay sober! I am on probation for "good behavior" and it is a small town. No joke, the court ordered me a year of good behavior, amongst a few other not so pleasant things but I was worried about the refusal. In retrospect, what was I thinking in the first place! Alkies make really bad decisions.

I did find a great outpatient rehab councilor at a local facility that offers individual and group therapy as well as psychiatrist doctors and there is a lot of support here and there always will be AA!

At first I thought recovery plans sounded a bit lame and I had been to rehab before (and staid sober for 2 years) but after reading this forum and especially what Dee says I don't think I can white knuckle it alone.

Lucky you. Suggestion: Drop off some donuts or other treat for the whole station, no note included. You and he know the truth.

Pay it forward somehow, that's how karma works. Live life with positive intent.
