Weekender 22-26 March 2018
Another Saturday morning and grateful to be sober. As soon as I wake up every morning, I say that.
Jack Johnson. Love him, glad you liked, "Better Together," argillaceous. It is in my Weekender rotation. We are better together. Usually it cures a migraine.
I spent my thirties with one migraine after another, and am so grateful to be past those days and all that medication and just being generally sick. I couldn't have looked at a computer screen - just put me in a dark quiet room with a cool washcloth and a medicine cabinet. And don't talk to me. Made it hard to be in any kind of relationship or even to hold a job.
That is me nattering. ^^ Hey, I'm learning all kinds of British slang by watching Netflix - which seems to be 50/50 UK and US these days. Learning and/or not understanding half of what they say.
If it ever stops raining/snowing I'll get to the beach today. Love the beach on the weekends, every dog in town is there. I like to watch them enjoy the beach and water. Too cold for me to swim (54*F -ish.)

Happy Saturday!
Doing a seniors art therapy session today, have to get the coats of my therapy horses and after a winter off, do some work.
Cleaning up the house, 13 days until we move. Thank goodness for warm temps, gotta get the outdoor areas ship shape! The ice on the lake where we boughg our house is significantly shrinking. So looking forward to my coffee on my deck, with my 180 views. I get to watch sun rise and set wwith lovely southern views. Yay!

so I went across the road & had a wander around the Science Museum for a few hours instead
A coffee and a trip to the V & A sounds good Hawkeye. I wouldn't have minded seeing the Pink Floyd Exhibition, Their Mortal Remains. I think that is over now.
I went to the Science Museum last summer, loved it.
Winnie the Pooh walks about meeting all his friends in his 100 Acre Wood neighbourhood wearing nothing but a T-Shirt. Whereas whenever I try to do that in my neighbourhood I get arrested.

I went to the county animal services for orientation to volunteer, maybe. I came home and took a long nap. I'm not sure, I have to think about it. There is a wildlife museum that rehabs injured wild animals that I'm thinking about checking out to volunteer at; might not be so rough mentally.
Hope you all are having a great weekend. I love reading the posts on this thread.

Start of a great day where I am in the UK. It's bright, dry and a little chilly but it'll warm up- still great for walking in.
Yesterday I was v busy and actually wanted to go to bed just after 9pm!! That never happens. Anyways, I had a nice evening, went to bed only to be woken up by drunk people having a shouting match at about 3am
Where I live, it's not uncommon so I'm sorta used to it.
Then this morning, I got up,got dressed- my priority is now- up early to take the dog out. In weekends I tend to walk her for longer. As I was returning I passed the other end of my street to see a taxi, one woman lying on the pavement beside her door and another woman chatting to the taxi driver.
By the time I came back to my door, the woman was still on the pavement, her friend had clearly just dropped her at her house and decided to leave her on the pavement, drunk. I was going to go over but by this stage her next door neighbours were trying to help her out.
I looked at that situation, I've never ended up on the pavement in my history of drinking but it reaffirmed to me, how staying sober is definitely the best option for me.
