2 Months

I reached 2 months sober on Saturday. I went out to eat with some friends on Sunday. They had martinis. One of my favorites. Part of me wanted so bad to try one. But the larger part of me knew it wasn't wise. So I abstained.

They got drunk. I got annoyed. I went home and watched TV.

Dinner was delicious though.

Spaghetti with clam sauce and mizithra cheese with a side of meatballs. Spamoni icecream for dessert. Much better than without the Martini.

Congratulations on 2 months! Your dinner sounds out of this world. I could almost envision your table at the restaurant. The martini part had to be tough. I know I couldn't have handled it, but so glad you could.
