I did it
I made my first time in a pub since I got sober 82 days ago
Went to lift my hubby who was having a few beers on st Patrick's Day he wasn't finished so I sat an had a soda water
Came home made dinner played with my 9 year old daughter then lifted my eldest daughter at work
I felt so brilliant
Watched a movie and felt on top of the world
I love being sober
It's like totally new and innocent
Feelings that I've never felt since I was a child ....
It does get better

Good work, I have been sober for a similar time, and I’m starting to make trips into the outside world. I’m surprised how little interest people have had in whether I drink or not. Previous to going out I obsessed about this. The only question I get is whether I really have given up forever. Keep going, sober life is like being a kid again!
