Sounds good.
Don’t be afraid to talk through emotions rather than bottling them up, though. Bottling things up can cause an explosion later.
It is excellent that you are refusing to paint yourself as a victim. One of the biggest ways I abused alcohol was to console myself for my “unfairly” rough lot in life.
I began to do constructive things to keep me from licking my wounds.

So glad to see you back Mummy. You had some significant sober time. You were doing it and can do it again. Well done on coming back after a setback. Post here if you want to air your feelings. We are here for you. ((HUGS))
Hey there, Mummy. So glad you're back--you can beat this demon-- just never, ever give up. I thought there was no hope for me (and I was so very far gone) but I kept trying even when I thought it was no use. Now my life is so much better and I have 27 months of sobriety. I am rooting for you--you can do it and reclaim your life.
