45 days sober??? Really??? Yessiree!!!!

Well I'm 45 days sober. My first 2 weeks were done a little "unconventionally". The other 31 days have been easy. I don't want to sound cocky, but when something happens to you and all the cards are laid on the table, well its an easy decision to make when you sit back, and prioritize your life. Seems that the Devil Liquid lost out. I'm not naive, I know I'll be tested eventually. I've already had a couple small arguments with my AV, and I won. I don't recommend sobering up and detoxing the way I did, its just the way it happened. And I'm on the recovery road. As well as being a better Husband, Father, and person.

Congrats Canuck. Anything you've been utilizing this time around that's been of special help?

Canuckleman45 03-15-2018 07:49 AM

No. Just will power and the desire to stay sober. That’s it.

Congrats and glad you realize it won't always be easy, but enjoy everyday it is.

Zombie I have noticed change. Weight is coming off, complexion is better. Among other changes is my blood pressure has been reduced significantly. Basically everything is better. I’m on day 54, and am still hanging in there
