Day 4

Day 4 of being sober. I am quite proud of myself.I don’t remember the last time I went 4 days without drinking.. I’ll admit I am finding it a little hard tonight, but not too bad. I’ve been drinking lots of tea to replace the poison I was once so attached to. I have been having lots of dreams about drinking, my dreams are telling me I can become a social drinker but I know that can’t happen. Those dreams are very unsettling and confusing to me because they make me second guess myself. I know I can never be a normal drinker, no matter how hard I try.Once I start I don’t stop, I either pass out or something bad happens to me. I don’t know why I have to be like that.I know I just need to keep telling myself that, and keep reminding myself the benefits of not drinking.

Well done, Natasha.

Four sober days are fantastic.

Drinking dreams are very common, especially during early times., and can be very unsettling. Those dreams should lessen in intensity and in frequency as time goes by, although many people still report the occasional drinking dream well into their sobriety and recovery.

Stay close, Natasha. We care.
