96 hours feeling good

I have made the decision to never drink again and it's been a long road to get here. I know I have a long road ahead of me. Just wondering if the whole thinking about this new life 24/7 goes away with time. I guess with time it just becomes part of you and you don't think about it all time. Kinda like a year after you quit smoking cigarettes or any thing else. Any feed back from you guys with more time under your belt then me?

It's been my experience that you will always have to remain vigilant. Just as with smoking, it only takes one to slip right back into it. Addiction is addiction

Just do today. Do 3 things for your sobriety. For you. You got this.
