2 months
Thought I'd check in at two months (it was on 1st march actually).
It's been such an amazing two months and I feel incredibly grateful. I have been going through some difficult times, that aren't drink related, and sobriety has given me the strength and clarity needed to deal with everything.
I'm not entirely sure what's different this time around, but somehow it's coming easy and natural. Like all my resistance has vanished and I'm truly embracing sobriety. It's like I'm finally ready.
My cravings have been very minimal. There are certain events that are triggers, but I'm learning to divert those thoughts and replace with a new pattern. Strangely, I'm enjoying the process and the sober me that I keep re-discovering
