1 week!

No urges, feeling great, bloating gone, probably saved 200 bucks already minimum, lost 2 pounds, excited

I know it's not for everyone but if you are truly sick of drinking. I mean really sick of it where it's not fun anymore. I find reading the easyway by Allen Carr and kick the drink by Jason vale very valuable. They are basically the same ideas but the make a ton of sense. You don't have to go through life feeling like you are missing out or gave something up or that you are shackled and labeled.

Thanks everyone here for your support as I found my way these past couple of months

Never again..... feels so good to be free

Nice going RP and thanks for the book suggestions. I already found them on Amazon. Looks like both have good reviews.

After 20+ years, I'm making another attempt to stop and am 12 days in. I read posts on these forums for hours during the first few days to help keep me on track and I'm hoping the books that you suggest will help too.

Hi RP - I remember when you first joined and I replied to your thread about being a 'high functioning alcoholic'. I was slightly ahead of you at the time but since then suffered my own silly slip up.

Seems we are now on exactly the same day in other parts of the world. This is my day 8 too now.

Keep it up!

Race ya!

Thanks everyone. Rocking thru day 8 here, happy and healthy. No urges at all. I do fee a little hyper the last 2-3 days. My wife remarked that i need to calm down a bit even. I was ALWAYS uber energetic and not able to sit still. Even while drinking i am a ball of energy for days on end but now it's really spiked. I gotta find a way to dissapate it a bit in a healthy way. I already do my run at 5:30 am daily and the gym 5 times a week so i'm not sure what else. Any suggestions??

Thanks for all of your support . To the few who replaied about it, i believe the books will most certainly help. Good luck. I'm looking forwar dto helping others as much as i can as well once i get some more time under my belt for credibilitys sake. I already know I'm DONE though
