The morning after.
I was going to title this thread
The mourning after!
Because last night's alcoholic effect has worn off and I feel like hell!!
It's like I was surfing a huge wave
On a buzz trip albeit a false reality!
I'm going to try again to sober up
Work my program and admit to myself that I cannot drink safely!
I don't get people who have a few drinks and stop.
For me after a few I'm just getting warmed up!
It's like more more more until I pass out.
Which I did last night
When I woke up on my sofa the clock said 6am I couldn't believe it
I didn't initially know whether it was still the weekend or not.
This has to stop for me!
And my breAkfast has been an Easter egg and coca cola!

glad you see that.
now onto solutions to make it stp and keep it stopped.
what are you going to do to make that occur?
what actions are you willing to do?

Hey. I don't know much. But I'm fairly certain it doesn't stop for us unless we stop it.
For my own situation I'm simply trying to live in day-long compartments. I'm not drinking today.
Hopefully at some point I'll receive or find the ability to sustain and change. But I know I can't do any of that unless I simply don't drink today.
Hope this helps.

It makes me sad seeing your long post-drinking posts. You don't have to keep going with these ups and downs. Best to you.
Turning off the negative will work for days.
Turning on the positive will work for a lifetime.
Drink a lot of water today. You have work to do.
For me, it stopped when I was prepared to accept that I could no longer drink alcohol. That every time I did, it would run riot and I didn't know where I would end up.
I became prepared to work as hard at sobriety as I did at drinking.
It was well worth it.

Yup. I had to wave the white flag with alcohol, too.
Much better here on the sober side. I don't envy you what I assume must be quite a hangover.
Every morning I told myself, "I'll go to bed sober tonight."
Make it happen G.
