I can't overstate the value of posting when your troubled and struggling or just want something off your chest .

I was getting my self in a terrible state recently through worry about an imminent up and coming event .

I started a thread regarding this and the help I received was amazing .

My posting has changed my whole way of looking at all aspects of what was troubling me and I can never thank SR community enough for their non judgmental, wise and friendly responses .

No matter what your issue you are sure to find someone here who has walked the same or similar path .

You are not alone .

So I urge you not to stew over what troubles you ,come here and tell us about it

Thanks for posting this. As an introvert, my inclination is to bottle everything up. Bottling things up leads me to the physical bottle.

Agreed! This is why this website is so invaluable; sometimes just posting and realizing you're not the only one that has been down this road and struggle, and others have succeeded through it can keep things positive for you

Good stuff - thanks, hpdw. I definitely had a hard time opening up - but when I did it made all the difference. I never knew there were so many just like me, with the same thoughts. Not being alone anymore made all the difference to my recovery.
