My ex is leaving tomorrow why say goodbye
I can't say goodbye. It's way too painful. I feel like a fool. It's not a good place. He was my best friend lover and everything else. I will just move on. I have some new AA friends.tomorrow is a new day. I need new friends. He treated me like ****. Going to bed now. Glad I have this site to whinge to
Hi Sweetchick. I know your situation. I had a 6 year relationship that was coming to an end. It was a mutual breakup but during the last few months we lived apart. We thought we should we should meet one final time to get 'closure' type ****. We were going to meet for a ladt dinner, but I then at the last minute, I cancelled. A clean break was best. That would have been an awkward dinner. An hour long goodbye. My ex agreed. Why draw it out. You will be sad and lonely for a bit but everyone goes through that. My ex said she would have cried too muchand ruined the dinner. I would have probably just gotten drunk. Let it go, move on to greener pastures!
Hi Sweetichick,
I'm glad you opted not to say goodbye. I also feel like this is going to be a blood thing for you emotionally. With the support of your friends at AA, and not having to worry about him next door you will be able to continue to focus on your recovery.

Thanks everyone. He just left, moved all their stuff. I am feeling nothing ATM except that I had a lucky escape plus I didn't lose half my townhouse. I won't contact him now unless he rings me.
Geez Louise Sweetichick.
Block his number.
What could he possibly say except to berate you - or ask you to rejoin his harem? Neither of those things are good options for you.
This is not the last man you're ever going to meet that you like. Trust me on that.
Imagine if when you meet the next guy you have your life together and your recovery well in hand?
Could be the best relationship yet
